Aubrey Ventures was created to make direct investments into a small number of early stage private companies. Targeted companies are in viable markets with few competitors and tend to offer unique solutions that are scalable. In addition to growth capital, we provide new companies with strategic advice through Director or Advisory positions. We believe that an active investment approach creates a close working relationship with founders, provides clarity for additional funding commitment decisions, and generally improves the economic prospects of the company. To facilitate the active investment approach, we will take proportionally larger stakes in a fewer number of companies.
